Fotografie
Even in my youth I was interested in photography. Back then, of course, it was still analog and all settings had to be made by hand.
At the beginning it was mainly about documenting the family, the pet or the vacation, it soon became clear that my two interests, nature and photography, can be perfectly combined.
And so my photographic work has focused on fauna and flora for several years. Based on a quote from J.P. Lever, the Basel-born poet, I have a particular focus on Europe's natural beauties:
"Wir müssen nicht glauben, daß alle Wunder der Natur nur in anderen Ländern und Weltteilen seien. Sie sind überall. Aber diejenigen, die uns umgeben, achten wir nicht, weil wir sie von Kindheit an täglich sehen."
We do not have to believe that all wonders of nature are only in other countries and parts of the world. They are everywhere. But we disregard those around us because we see them every day from childhood. "
